Issy-les-Moulineaux, September 11, 2024 – The Saur Group is proud to announce that Estelle Grelier, President of Saur France, has been appointed President of the French Federation of Water Professionals (FP2E). This dual role is a recognition of her leadership skills and her passionate commitment to sustainable water management.
An outstanding professional journey
Estelle Grelier has developed and implemented her commitments throughout her career, in both the public and private sectors. With nearly 20 years of experience in public life, she has held various leadership positions, including Member of the European Parliament, Member of Parliament, and Secretary of State for Local Authorities. This extensive experience has given her recognized expertise in public sector challenges and economic attractiveness, which she now brings to the Saur Group.
Since joining Saur in 2019, Estelle Grelier has played a key role in the company’s strategic transformation, initiated by Patrick Blethon. Her leadership is characterized by a clear strategic vision and a commitment to promoting sustainable and innovative solutions for the effective and responsible management of water resources.
On May 6, the General Assembly of the AFL also confirmed her appointment to the Supervisory Board of the bank dedicated to financing local public investment. This appointment highlights her extensive experience in local mandates and her ongoing commitment to communities: as Deputy Mayor of Fécamp, she chaired the Fécamp Caux Littoral Agglomeration from 2001 to 2014 and served as Vice President of the Regional Council of Upper Normandy from 2004 to 2009.
A new mission: the Presidency of FP2E.
Alongside her role at Saur, Estelle Grelier will now take on the presidency of FP2E, a crucial step in strengthening the impact of the water sector in France.
As President of FP2E, Estelle Grelier will be responsible for addressing crucial challenges, particularly in the area of water pricing. The impact of climate change on the economic models of water and sanitation services is a major issue, with a significant increase in investments expected in the coming years. Drawing on her experience in the sector and the strength of her convictions, she will be well-equipped to conceptualize ambitious models for the water services of tomorrow.
